Domus Residency

In May 2023, I spent the month in Galatina (Italy) at Domus.

It was an opportunity to connect with my artistic practice and to investigate my process.

During my time in Galatina, I took pictures and continued with my abstract practice. The result of the work was exhibited during the open studio at the house at the end of the residency.

My research there focused on the feeling of belonging, the frustration of not having a place to call home, and the excitement of having multiple places that feel like one.

My artworks were installed in the studio together with a diary of pictures and notes taken during my stay.
